Frequently asked questions
- How do you ensure animal welfare during the sessions?
- Each animal has its own behavior and limits. If an animal chooses to rest or move away, we respect that and never force interaction. We also closely monitor all animals, rotate them throughout the session to avoid over-handling, and give them immediate breaks if they show signs of stress.
- What are the hygiene and health protocols?
- We take hygiene seriously. Participants are asked to wash their hands with soap and water after interacting with animals. All interactions are supervised and controlled, and our animals receive regular health checks.

We were delighted to welcome Wild Science to our disability youth club yesterday for their Bubble Art workshop. The session was engaging, creative, and thoroughly enjoyed by all of our young people. A special mention goes to Rufus, who was absolutely fantastic throughout the workshop. He was patient, enthusiastic, and made sure that every young person was included and able to participate, regardless of their individual needs. His ability to engage with everyone and create a fun, supportive atmosphere was truly impressive. Our members had a wonderful time exploring the bubble art activities, and it was wonderful to see so many smiles, creativity, and confidence on display. We would highly recommend Wild Science to any group looking for an inclusive, interactive, and memorable experience. Thank you, Rufus and the Wild Science team, for such a brilliant session! We look forward to welcoming you back in the future.

We recently booked a visit at our holiday club, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The children absolutely loved meeting and learning about the animals, and the staff enjoyed it just as much! The presenter was incredibly friendly, engaging, and knowledgeable. They shared lots of interesting information about each animal in a way that was both educational and fun, keeping the children captivated throughout the session. The experience was well organised, interactive, and suitable for all ages. It was wonderful to see the children so excited and eager to ask questions. We would definitely book again and highly recommend this animal experience to other nurseries, schools, and holiday clubs looking for something memorable and educational.

Wow what a Bank Holiday surprise this was. The food people at salvo army had invited Mathew and his critters, special mention to Kirby who was so very well behaved. We attended an event they held Bank holiday Sunday and what a great treat Mathew had all the kids attention and had the whole room mesmerized he clearly knew and loved those critters and had a passion for the subject. But he also had a passion for others who wanted to learn and know more and was patient and didn't look down on anything asked of him and met questions especially with the children with respect. Thai was a last minute decision based on some people handing flyers out a few streets away, Mathews involvement made us glad we changed plans on a bank holiday weekend. Of course everyone at the Salvo army was very welcoming and it's was a well planed event.

What an incredible experience! Booked for my sister’s 31st birthday, we couldn’t have had a better time! Jess immediately made everyone feel at ease and relaxed, was incredibly attentive to my sister’s energy levels (she has severe M.E.), asking if she wanted to take breaks or lay quietly with a Guinea pig. Jess shared her wealth of knowledge with us in a very humour filled way, answering any questions we had. The animals she brought with her were amazing and all seemed incredibly happy and healthy. Such a range of different animals, a lesser tenrec, a tree frog, two Guinea pigs, a tortoise, a scorpion, a giant snail and a python! Thank you Jess for such a special birthday treat for my sister, and incredible memories for our whole family to cherish!
