We had a great day at the actual football for a corporate work event with 42 teams which is why I have given the one star. However, after we went to the restaurant in fives and it was the most AWFUL experience I have ever had and witnessed in my life, especially at a corporate event. We were left 1 hour 50 minutes waiting for 8 chicken wraps and didn’t have any soft drink order taken but was given a bucket of beers. I went up to chase on the order to the owner Yousef twice (first after an hour, then after 1.5 hours) the second time I chased food was then delivered to the next table which we was then told after they’d delivered our food to the wrong table for the second time even though I had given the table number and been up twice. On the final time I went up again at an hour 45 minutes and had said I was happy to take the order over to our own table and would wait next to the kitchen to avoid confusion which the waiter said not to worry. After when we went up to get the bill - we then was charged incorrectly for 2 extra buckets of beers which we didn’t have. We explained to the owner Yousef that this was incorrect where he then got very angry at my colleague and said they had given us the buckets this was with no proof and he didn’t go over to check our table. Yousef charged £7 a bottle of beer which we then saw was the incorrect price after. After we paid we asked for his name to let the corporate event manager know about the situation and Yousef proceeded to shout at us to say leave a review on google he doesn’t care and to never return to his restaurant again and waved his hands in our faces. As two young girls this was threatening behaviour and concerning. I understand it was a lot of pressure and guests that were eating and the staff was stretched but we approached in a calm way and was professional as we was still in somewhat a ‘work’ environment. My suggestion would be to never come to this restaurant if the owner has this attitude and most definately never ever host a corporate event here my poor colleague was left quite shaken by the experience and it put a real dampener on the day.

Been coming for over 8 years, consistent block payer for football. Customer services has rapidly declined. Its like dealing with robots who have no interest to aid any queries or problems.. frontstaff is usually fine but Gary the manager is a big part of the problem

Great football pitch, and if looking for a venue to have a party grate package to choose from ( why not hire a castle with your package 🥳 )

absolutely disgusting and unprofessional from the front desk. went to speak with the front desk about a problem on their website where they are allowing people to potentially book at the same time and and she was speaking with attitude and chewing her gum with her mouth wide open, disgusting. absolutely no care from the “receptionist” that customers were unhappy or that the website needed updating - a clear indication “she” knew what was going on. “she” stated that the pitch was block booked however it was showing as available all day, up until the time of the booking. clearly people are paying off the reception to use the pitch for cheaper without booking as other pitches with real teams on who i went and spoke to who have >>actually
