Coach-led kids' bouldering parties at the Parsons Green climbing centre - now operated by City Bouldering as Climbing Co Fulham

About The Climbing Hangar London

This friendly three-floor bouldering centre a minute from Parsons Green tube has changed hands: since March 2026 it is operated by City Bouldering under the name Climbing Co Fulham, though the offer remains what local families know - beginner-friendly climbing on short walls over thick crash mats, no ropes needed, with new routes set weekly at every grade and a cafe serving coffee and snacks all day. Kids' birthday parties are coach-led group sessions for ages seven and up, led by certified climbing coaches who mix fun activities with real climbing fundamentals; the centre also runs after-school clubs for 5-14s, so the coaching pedigree is genuine. Party pricing is confirmed at booking through the new operator. Reviews from its Climbing Hangar era average 4.7 stars from over 600 Google visitors, and the new operator (which also runs the White City Fun Walls venue) keeps a current site with online booking - though note the listing name reflects the old brand until updated

A fantastic addition to the City Bouldering family! I recently checked out the Fulham branch since it joined the City Bouldering group. If you’re already a CB member, your membership carries over perfectly—just keep in mind you’ll still need to sign a new digital waiver on your first visit. The Space: The gym is a bit of a maze, spread across three floors: Ground Floor: The main (and largest) climbing area. 1st Floor: A smaller climbing section and some limited secure storage. 2nd Floor: A decent climbing area plus a dedicated warm-up space. Location & Amenities: The location is unbeatable—literally a 2-minute walk from Parsons Green station. Facilities are clean and well-maintained. There are four changing rooms on the ground floor with plenty of open cubbies, though secure storage is a bit limited on the first floor. They offer a good selection of hot/cold drinks and smoothies, though I didn't spot any food options. The Climbing: Routes are color-coded by difficulty. There’s a helpful grading poster on every level! It’s a great spot for all abilities, but if you’re bringing a family or a total beginner, I’d still suggest their Stratford location for its spacious, open-plan layout. The only real downside is the size of the location. While it was quiet during my off-peak visit, I imagine it gets incredibly cramped during busy periods, which would make climbing difficult. Additionally, there isn't a dedicated water station; I had to ask the staff to refill my bottle from the tap behind the reception desk. Overall, a great place to meet people with a lovely staff team. Hoping to see this spot included in the climbing league soon!

I visited London for a week and decided climb here at the end, and I wish I had at the beginning so I could’ve come back. Everyone was super friendly, workers and climbers. The chalk was very cheap, but when I asked to buy some they let me borrow a bag for free. The route setting was very creative. Every route flowed super well and made me think about and try things I haven’t before. If I’m ever back in London I know I’ll be coming back!

Amazing gym. Got the membership and I’ve been going consistently, always delivers. The boulders are well set and vary in difficulty and slope. Would recommend It also for beginners. Moon board and Splatter board available, which add a nice touch to the gym.

I went to a girls event here with Chris and LouLou as our coaches. They were friendly and welcoming and guided us through safety, stretching then getting on the wall. They made our first session very accessible with some traversing(sideways climbing) games which lead to a lot of laughter. It made the focus less about completing a climb and more about just getting stuck in and less afraid of the wall. They showed us all 3 floors and we gave a few different colours a try. Even ones that are quite hard just to see if we could problem solve the start few moves. I loved that it wasn’t linear, like you have to complete grey before doing green instead the focus was on curiosity. I believe they do all girls sessions Friday evening and discounted sessions for off peak. They also had free sanitary supplies in the bathroom and offered everyone free water. I really enjoyed my session here and was a big fan of the coaches approach. I will be coming back hopefully when I’m in the area!

Great bouldering gym that packs a punch for its small footprint. A bit tardis-like, over 3 floors it crams in a load of great blocs. I spent a couple of hours and tried all the greens, oranges, blues and most of the purples (which seem like V3-4). Friendly & helpful staff, and only £8 off peak. Lovely!
