I attended the Artsy workshop for adults on the 25th of September. At first, I felt a little out of place since I had no prior experience in art and noticed that some of the other participants did. However, that feeling quickly disappeared. Maria, the instructor, was knowledgeable, engaging, and had a great sense of humor, which made the atmosphere very welcoming. Everyone was relaxed and focused on their own paintings, and I ended up creating a final piece that I’m genuinely proud of. I’ll definitely be joining the next workshops!

My husband and I recently attended Maria's art workshop and we had an absolutely fantastic experience. Maria's enthusiasm and knowledge for art is truly infectious and inspiring. I haven’t really done any art since school — over 40-years ago! — but my partner and I love going to galleries and watching the “artist of the year” programmes. We came across RTSY’s art class for adults and decided to give it a go. In the back room of a pub, Maria was all set up and she welcomed us in. The session was delightful. Maria gave us some great tips and hints on how to paint with acrylic paints, all the while being attentive and supportive. We were given images to emulate using different brushes and mixing paints to match the original colours as close as possible. All-in-all, we had an engaging and enjoyable evening and have two paintings to show for it!

My daughter’s experience with RTSY Art School in just six weeks has been amazing. She has explored a variety of artistic techniques, including graphite printing and still life painting. She especially loved working on her owl piece and is excited about starting her extension and canvas work. The growth in her skills is incredible. She has loved every lesson so far. My children absolutely love going to Maria's art classes and holiday camps. Maria is so kind and encouraging she has played a huge part in nurturing their love of art. They always come home with the most amazing creations that our walls are full of their artwork and they are so proud of their work, she really gets the best out of every child whilst at the same time encouraging their individual style. I can't recommend Maria's art classes highly enough!
