Barbara did water colour painting with my daughter and her 8 friends on her 9th birthday. It was fantastic, the girls loved it and all went home with a beautiful water colour of their initial in a lovely frame which they all seemed really proud of. Barbara was lovely and I’d highly recommend. Barbara provided the really cool looking arty table coverings, aprons, paints, and materials and my daughter just asked me to add “that she was really amazing in general!”

My older daughter has been with Barbara for over 5 years now and the younger has been over a year. They both enjoy Barbara's classes so much! They learn new techniques, improve on the previously built bases in a fun way and the best thing is that they explore their creativity is so many unusual ways: both during the classes and inspired at home afterwards. I regularly hear comments about my older one that her work is like from a real artist and somehow it is super easy for her! Thank you Barbara!

I have to say that I am so happy with Paperbirds. I have always been keen to art classes for my daughters and I am so glad that I had the chance to find Barbara. To sum up my thoughts about her classes I have asked my older child, who is now in Y4, to write her opinion on a paper. Here it is (and I can only share it 100%): "I have been doing Barbara’s classes for 4 years now and have gone to most of her camps. I love the way she always waits for children to create their own paintings independently and gives the best advice. I also like that she has lots of brilliant, original ideas and explains everything very well such as what brush strokes to use. She has a big motivation and has made me inspired and want to become better at art. I will do her classes as long as I can. Every week I looking forward to her classes". And Barbara always has a bid smile! Thanks, Paperbirds!

Barbara's classes are absolutely incredible - they have been so valuable especially during lockdown!! The children's work is outstanding once they've been in a class with her! She guides them through the process and at the same time strikes a wonderful balance by still allowing them a way to show their own personalities in their art! My 5 year old has developed so much pride in her art work and feels very empowered learning the new skills taught by Barbara that allow her to create gorgeous art. I am so grateful we found this art school and looking forward to many years learning from with you! Thank you!!

My 3 children attended to Paperbirds artclass and we were absolutely delighted by the workshops with Barbara. She is great with kids, very creative and fun ideas and the kids just love it! Theo (5) and Margaux (4) artworks are still on our walls. They are so proud of their masterpieces - it is just amazing how Barbara can develop their creativity (my kids weren’t so arty at the beginning!) - well done and wish you all the best!
