My little boy (2 years old) joined in the fun for a room on the broom cooking class. He absolutely loved it. It was so well thought through. Lots of activities and very well organised cooking for short attention spans of littlies but getting them involved. There were lots of activities set up outside in the garden and the food was delish!! Highly recommend and we’ve already booked another class!

My 4 yo son took part in a mini chef cooking workshop at school and loved it so much he asked if we could do one together. We attended the pizza cooking class, and what a delightful Sunday morning we had! Catherine started the class with a little welcome song on her guitar and we went on to prep the pizzas. There was lots of time for free play with many different kinds of activities set up in a thoughtful way. When it was time for bed at the end of the day the last thing my son told me before falling asleep was "Mummy can we go back to the pizza place again?" Plenty of delicious food for the grown ups too :)

Our family (two adults, a 4 year old and a 2 year old) took part in the Mini Chef Makes Taco class this weekend and it was glorious! We made tortillas, guacamole and salsa - perfectly pitched for children with easy to follow instructions and learning new skills using the tortilla press and (child-friendly) knives. Catherine had also set up play stations across her garden, as well as inside, so kids could roam freely, exploring different resources throughout the class. We all came together to eat what we made - a delicious meal for adults and children in an idyllic setting. A perfect way to spend a Saturday morning.

We did the taco making class a while back, and last weekend did the festive gingerbread and storytelling session. Both were absolutely lovely- all the children were so engaged and everything was really thoughtfully prepared and set out, and easy to do. I was always a bit nervous about cooking with my three year old and this gave me a boost to do it more. The festive experience was even more fun, great location on an allotment, lots of hands on activities guided by some fantastic storytelling by Ella. Would do both again in a heartbeat, thank you Catherine!

The best children’s session I’ve experienced! Thoughtfully prepared, beautifully varied - everything child’s play should be. Perfect! Photos are of seasonal hammering work, Kelly kettle chocolate melting, big-scale free painting (a tiny representation of what was available in the session)
