Hamleys on Regent Street is a magical destination for children and adults alike. This iconic seven-floor toy store offers an incredible range of toys, games, collectibles, and interactive demonstrations. The lively atmosphere, friendly staff, and entertaining displays make every visit a memorable experience. A must-visit attraction for families visiting London.

I obviously was looking for a store with a large Scalextric selection. This place did not disappoint. They had a display track set up that people were encouraged to try. I wish I had more time as the there were a few floors I didn’t even make it to. There were lots of staff demonstrating all sorts of toys. I was impressed as an adult… I couldn’t imagine being here as a kid! Give yourself some time and I hope you find what you’re looking for. I did find a car and some accessories to buy that aren’t always available back home.

A truly iconic toy store and an experience in itself. Spread across several floors, there is something for every age, with live demonstrations and interactive sections that keep children fully engaged. The staff are active and create a fun environment throughout the store. My son absolutely loved it, and it is a must-visit when in London! When we visited in 2026 they were celebrating their 265th year!

The greatest toy store! Every floor is packed with toys that have been organised in a layout that is easy and enjoyable to explore. I especially love the teddy bears in the ground floor, great place to purchase a souvenir if you are visiting London! The Lego store also has great sculptures that are worth checking out. The staff are friendly and helpful and it is entertaining to see them showing off the products.

Hamleys is a paradise for kids. The selection of toys is huge, and the energy in the store makes it feel like an attraction on its own. It’s easy to see why it’s such a famous stop in London. Just be ready for the crowds. It gets extremely busy, and you’ll need some patience to navigate the different floors. If you can handle that, it’s a fun place to explore with kids and a guaranteed hit for anyone who loves toys.
