50+ studios across UK including London

Teacher-led art parties in art-K's London studios - two hours of guided painting or making with a cake break, and every child takes home their own creation

About Art-K

art-K is the UK's biggest children's art-club network - more than fifty studios, with several across London - and its parties bring the club formula to birthdays: exclusive use of a studio, a trained art teacher leading the group through a project chosen from the brochure beforehand (acrylic painting, mixed-media design, tote-bag painting or watercolour), all materials in, and a twenty-minute break in the middle for cake and refreshments you bring yourself. Parties run around two hours of art with everyone taking home a finished piece; they suit children from Year 1 up, with the birthday child turning at least six, and younger siblings can join in. Pricing runs £30-£40 per child by project with a ten-child minimum charge, and dates are confirmed with a deposit after an enquiry. It is a polished national operation with a current site and responsive support; the Google listing for this branch is young but glowing

I really enjoy my time in the studio. It’s a calm and welcoming space where I can relax, paint, and learn new techniques and approaches to drawing and painting. It’s been wonderful for my wellbeing as well. Dimitris, the teacher is very knowledgeable and experienced, and always knows how to offer new ways and perspectives when I feel blocked or unsure about a painting or drawing. I also really appreciate his aesthetic sense and artistic style, which I find very inspiring 😊

  2. Stella WanRating: 5/5

Dimitris has been a fantastic art teacher for both my daughter and my son. He is truly passionate about teaching children and introduces them to art from many different angles. The classes are engaging and creative, and my kids have learned a variety of techniques while working with different materials. What I really like is how Dimitris encourages the children to plan their projects from the very beginning. He guides them step by step through the process, helping them turn their ideas into finished artwork. Since joining his classes, my children have improved their focus, attention to detail, and confidence in creating and sharing their ideas. It’s been great to see their enthusiasm for art grow. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a supportive and inspiring art teacher for children.

Both of my daughters love their afternoon session at Art-K. They're exploring different materials, styles of creating, techniques and skills each week. Elisha is a wonderful teacher and they are learning loads. They regular come home with extraordinary pieces of art, many of which now decorate our home and have attracted positive comments from friends and visitors. Local, friendly, knowledgeable - highly recommend!

My almost 7yo daughter loves the Tuesday session at Art K. She is falling in love with art and its techniques and that’s the best I could wish for. Elisha is lovely, friendly and competent and knows how to deal with kids and teach them art in a relaxed and fun environment. Highly recommended!

My son loves art-K Bowes Park, and Elisha is the absolute best at engaging the kids and truly ensuring that their passion for art blossoms. My son loves it, and I cannot imagine him not continuing throughout his primary education.
