We had an amazing first visit to Star Lanes and ended up spending hours there enjoying the bowling and all the other activities on offer. Everything was well organised and ran efficiently, which really added to the overall experience. It’s a fantastic place to relax and have a good time with friends or family. A special shoutout to Christin and Sona who was incredibly welcoming and helpful they explained the rules clearly and made us feel right at home. Such a fun day out we’ll definitely be back!

We had a really poor experience here on a Sunday evening after booking on the same day. We arrived 15 minutes early, as instructed, and were given our lane at five past rather than our 20 past booking time once we'd found the desk. The attendant told us that we'd have 40 minutes to get our two games in, so we'd best be going. We were not told what lane to go to, nor offered any shoes, and just made our way to the raucous alley. Our lane was unfortunately super overcrowded. The two lanes adjacent were overpopulated with players and they had spilled over into our seating/standing/bowling area. Instead of moving and being aware, they decided to stand in front of our lane for our entire time in the venue. Staff were unbothered, and similarly so regarding the bowling balls available at our lane; despite us being instructed not to take balls from other lanes, ours were either ridiculously heavy or light - with no decent choice. The food we ordered was overpriced, cold, and had a very small portion size. There was no vegan food labelled as such on the online menu. Overall, for the price we paid in total, this was a really poor experience and I wouldn't recommend it - certainly not at this time of the week.

My partner and I planned what we thought would be an enjoyable evening for date night as All Star Lanes does food, drinks and bowling. After searching, we thought All Star Lanes would be the best place to visit, so we paid £44 for two people for two games of bowling. I originally thought this was steep but would be worth it; it was not. We arrived at All Star Lanes around an hour before, as we wanted to grab food before our game. We entered through the restaurant area at the Westfield entrance and stood around for around 10 minutes, expecting it to be a "wait to be seated" kind of place. After waiting, and staff members seemingly avoiding talking to us, we took it upon ourselves to go and find a seat. The bar area looked dead and, due to the lack of staff, we just thought the kitchen might have closed, so we left to find somewhere else to eat. We were hungry so, with limited time left, we thought it would be best to see if there was any possibility of pushing our booking back by 20 minutes to give us time to eat. We soon discovered there was no phone number for the venue (I don't know what this new trend of places not having a phone number to call is but it's such an inconvenience). All Star Lanes had the "modify booking" function switched off via their site and the only option was to email. From my experience in being a Sales and Events executive for a hospitality group, I knew the likelihood of us getting a response in the time we needed would be extremely low. Due to this we decided there would be no point in getting food elsewhere, and to just rely on food available at All Star Lanes. Upon returning to the venue, we were directed to the reception area to be met with someone who is clearly, A) underpaid, B) overworked, C) doesn't care about their job, (I get it, we've all been there) after letting him know about our booking (we arrived 15 minutes on the dot early as the confirmation email requested) and as if he was doing us a favour responded with "we've got a lane free you can get on earlier for but it means your booking would end earlier". Which we were fine with, because it didn't seem an issue, until we were told the booking slot was only 40 minutes. We brushed it off and thought it would be fine if we were quick. We then stood and waited, expecting to be given some bowling shoes... (mainly as it's a bowling venue and there was a huge shelf of shoes behind him), however, the staff member simply looked at me and sarcastically muttered "you can go now." As I am not a person who enjoys arguing with staff, we swiftly went to find our lane, as we were not told which lane we were on. There were around 10 people on each lane, making this quite an overwhelming and overcrowded experience. When we got to our lane, we decided to order some side dishes. The bill came to £15.78 for a portion of fries and two onion rings. When it arrived, the food was abysmal; we were given 12 chips and the WORST onion rings we've ever had, with barely any batter. They were so difficult to eat as the batter created ridiculously sharp edges (images attached). We decided to get on with our game(s); unfortunately, we had been sandwiched between two groups of at least 10. We could barely even see each other bowl as other guests stood across our lane - the staff were totally oblivious, despite us asking people to step aside multiple times. All Star Lanes also have a noticeable message running across all screens asking guests not to take balls from other lanes. This is clearly not enforced, as we were forced to play with bowling balls that were either comically heavy or absurdly light. This was such a disappointing date night and we both came back feeling as if there was just no point. The cost was disproportionate, very high, and we felt hard done by. Not only was the food shocking and overpriced, but the bowling experience itself was ruined by us feeling rushed, unable to see through a sea of overcrowding, and unable to bowl properly with the bowling balls we were given.

Had an amazing time bowling with my friends! The atmosphere was lively, the lanes were well-maintained, and the music added to the fun vibe. We laughed a lot, had some friendly competition, and enjoyed every moment. The food was surprisingly really good too — tasty snacks and great portions that kept us fueled between games. Perfect spot to hang out, eat, and have a great time together. Can’t wait to go back for another round! 🎳🍔🥳

Located just outside Westfield London, this venue features eight retro bowling lanes, two cocktail bars, classic arcade games, private karaoke booths, and an outdoor terrace. Every visit feels like the perfect escape. Great night out don't forget to check offers and events this half term. Sundays is £5 and 20% off food and drink great value.
