Went here for a 2hour snowboard beginners lesson (first time). Dan was our instructor and was fantastic at giving good cues and tips to help us learn at the correct pace. Even though we were in a group of 6 of us he spent time with each of us giving us individual tips and challenges. The setup with small beginners slope was really good as well as the changing rooms and equipment hire well thought out. All the other staff were approachable and friendly. Our only comment would be that we could have had a longer area or length of slope at least towards the end of our lesson when we had started to ge the hang of it and would have been safer We had half the length of the beginners slope for our class.

I had my first ever ski lesson here in a group, cannot fault the place at all. Dino was the instructor, he explained everything clearly and gave pointers to everyone individually even though we were in a group, he was overall a very good teacher. The staff in the cafe were also very friendly :)

The experience was excellent – a perfect 10/10. The staff were really helpful, especially our instructor. All the equipment was provided and it was top quality. The price feels fair for a full two-hour session. Parking was easy, with their own dedicated car park. I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking to take ski lessons.

On arrival you can Auto check in and grab your printed ticket and head upstairs to queue & pick up boots, skis & helmet. As a complete novice,I didn't know what to expect from my first ever ski lesson. From putting the boots on correctly,to getting the right size skis and helmet, the lesson was invaluable. The friendly tutor went through the basics including standing and trying each ski one by one before heading over to the nursery slope to try a few moves down the slope. I learnt how to start and stop and walk up with skis. Amazing venue which is -5c and real snow rather than dry slopes. There is ample changing facilities and a clever locker system where you can pick your own combination lock number. Once you finish and change, heading up another set of stairs to the café for a hot something is a must. There is also a viewing balcony for watching skiers and lessons. With a comprehensive ski shop on site, this really is a 'must try' for any budding skiers and snowboarders.

Had the 3 hour beginner lesson with Steve Allan today and thoroughly enjoyed. Steve was a great instructor, very informative and friendly and corrected us with a positive attitude throughout the session. Each of us had 1:1 attention and corrections and made massive progress throughout the session. Cannot wait to return and work with Steve again! The staff assisting with equipment rentals were also very helpful and friendly and made us feel excited before our session. The coffee from the cafe upstairs was exquisite 😅 My only quip would be regarding some of the younger Marshall’s on the slope next to us who were very loudly having their own conversations and quibbles and complaining quite loudly when children were struggling with the ski lift - I would’ve loved for them to be more gracious to add to the positive atmosphere I saw everywhere else.
