It would have been a good and fun experience for my daughter if it wasn't ruined by the illegal parking fine. We paid £36 for the skating, but regardless of the properly paid and displayed parking slip, still got a £100 fine over a week later. As I don't keep little paper slips (rubbish) in the car for longer than necessary, I can not even prove it. I called Planet Ice about this, but they can not help. Based on this money-robbing aspect of Premier Park, I would steer away from using the venue if you go by car.

Never been here before, went for an ice hockey game. You should really let people know about the massive pillars obstructing the view at ticket checkout. Ended up watching the game standing up on the ground level, which also upset some local season ticket Golders as the standing space is reserved specifically for them

5/5 Stars – A Must-Visit for Families! Our daughter, Olivia, absolutely loves coming here! Planet Ice Milton Keynes has become one of her favorite spots for skating. What makes this place stand out for us isn't just the ice, but the overall experience: • The Food: Their jacket potatoes are genuinely delicious—the perfect warm-up meal after a long session on the rink. • The Staff: The service here is consistently super friendly. It makes such a difference to be greeted with a smile and a helpful attitude, especially when visiting with kids. • The Atmosphere: It’s a great environment for skaters of all levels. If you’re looking for a fun day out in MK with great food and a welcoming team, we highly recommend it! A little good advice If your children want to come here every week, then buy new skates.

The ice skating part is enjoyable and the rink is in good condition, but there are frustrations leading up to it. The parking outside is a disaster. I waited in a 15 min queue to pay for parking (Premier Parking) at the machine. There's no app option and the machine interface is horrible. It ended up rejecting my card after hanging for several minutes (as it did for most people), so I had to pay for parking elsewhere, but the charge still showed up on my statement! I then had to wait in a 20 minute queue to get my tickets inside despite paying online and having a QR code. It's the same line for pre-paid and people who just show up, so it slows the entire thing down. They could make this much more efficient by simply splitting the lines up. We then had to queue for 15 mins for skates, then another 10 minutes for a locker. You essentially need an hour before you plan to skate for all of the queuing. It really puts me off going back and it could be so much more efficient with some simple changes.

You get given plenty of time for your slot. The prices are very reasonable. We had an amazing time. The staff are super friendly. They even helped us to organise a taxi back to our hotel.

I’ve had a great experience coming to the Planet Ice MK. I booked a 6-week beginner skating course online on their website. Each week on a Saturday, I would attend a 30 min group session with our Coach Gemma. She was lovely, she went through many moves and skills with us and took time to help those that were struggling. She was patient and gave great advice and encouragement, I really appreciate her guidance. This was my first time taking ice skating lessons and going on my own. It is daunting learning something new when you’re older, but I really thoroughly enjoyed the lessons and my experience here. I would encourage others to try also. The ice skating rink is big and there are plenty of spaces to sit on the bleachers if you’re not skating. You can hire the skates and also the penguin/polar bear - if you’re not confident going around - these can be used for adults or children. There are parking spaces outside the ice skating rink - the ones directly outside are £2.40 per hour. Would highly recommend, I loved skating here! All the staff are friendly and helpful. Would definitely come again with friends and family next time. Thanks again.
