Frequently asked questions
- How much is a party?
- There are three packages priced per guest: Fantastic Fun at £21 per guest (£105 for the minimum five), Awesome Adventure at £28 per guest (£140 for five) and Ultimate Celebration at £37 per guest (£185 for five). Additional guests are charged at the same per-guest rate for the package you choose.
- How many children do we need to have a party?
- There is a five-guest minimum, including the birthday child. Each package covers five guests and can take up to ten more.
- What happens at the party?
- Each guest makes and stuffs their own furry friend, guided by a party host, and can personalise it with clothing and accessories. The party also includes hosted games and a special heart ceremony, and every guest takes their new furry friend home.
- What age is it suitable for?
- Parties are suitable for children aged 2 to 12. An adult must be present throughout, and a parent needs to stay with any child aged three or under; parents of older children do not all need to attend.
- How long does the party last?
- Parties usually last around an hour and can be tailored to suit your group and budget.
- What is included in each package?
- Every package includes the make-your-own furry friend with a clothing item, a party host, hosted games, the heart ceremony, party hats and name tags. Awesome Adventure also adds a drawstring backpack, and Ultimate Celebration adds a footwear item and a sound.
- Is food included, and can we bring our own entertainment?
- Food is not part of the package, and outside entertainment is not permitted, as the party is built around the bear-making experience and hosted games. You are welcome to choose a party theme to personalise the celebration.
- How do we book?
- Parties are booked in advance with a deposit to reserve your date, and the balance is paid on the day. Send an enquiry with your preferred date, the number of guests and the ages of the children to get started.

It is just a big queue. They really should open the floor out so there is a bigger space to queue and browse, there is no browsing space and so is literally a queue. Go to the one in Oxford street, nearby and a lot freer to walk around and more attentive.

The **Hamleys Build-A-Bear** is a special in-store collaboration between **Hamleys**, the famous toy store, and **Build-A-Bear Workshop**. At Hamleys' flagship store on **Regent Street** in London, visitors can find a dedicated section for Build-A-Bear, allowing customers to create their own personalized stuffed animals just like in a regular Build-A-Bear store. This section offers a unique experience for toy lovers and families, where you can pick your bear, stuff it, add a sound or scent, and choose from a wide range of clothes and accessories to customize your creation. The in-store experience at Hamleys also adds a touch of the magic and excitement of being in one of the world’s most iconic toy stores, making it a fun stop for children and adults alike. Hamleys’ Build-A-Bear section allows for the same customizations you'd expect at a standalone Build-A-Bear store, but in a highly engaging and bustling environment within one of the largest toy stores in the world.

London’s Build-a-Bear Workshop provides a fun, interactive experience for creating personalized stuffed animals. Kids and adults can pick a bear, add stuffing, choose outfits, and personalize their toy, making it a unique activity. However, the experience can get quite expensive, especially as accessories and themed outfits add up quickly. While it’s memorable and enjoyable, the cost can be a consideration for families on a budget.

Kids love it and parents can’t bear it - puns intended - after ince hou made the 1h queue with understaffed team . Indeed we waited 45 mn to stuff the bear then another 20mn at cash desk. The last step is far too much and shows no respect for customers. And yeah it is holidays time, another reason to staff the team

being in love with plush and teddy bear since i’m a kid, i couldn’t missed this place while i was in london. the experience is really cool and i’m so happy of my little teddy bear. thank you so much to Evie, she’s a really nice person who smiles a lot and she contributed to the great time i had, so thank you so much to her. the staff can be really busy, so i’ll advice you to go at lunch time if you want to do a bear
