Great venue, really helpful staff. Our daughter had the best time at her climbing party as did all her friends. Thanks so much!

This place used to be really good with a really nice community atmosphere. Since the owner/manager left it's gone downhill. The staff sit around behind the desk (when someone is actually there) with their mates, munching fast food - half the time you don't know who works there and who doesn't. They really shouldn't allow people who don't work there to sit around behind the desk eating burgers, pizza and doughnuts - it's a gym afterall. It has gen-z youth centre vibes now. When you're in classes upstairs all you can hear is them being really loud which disturbs yoga classes. I heard a couple politely complaining that they turned up to a yoga class that was cancelled and weren't informed. Three guys just laughed it off saying they didn't know either and showed no concern for the fact the man said it would have been nice to have been told - no apology given and the man didn't know how to react. The place doesn't seem to get cleaned as often as it used to so it's covered in chalk dust. I've seen rubbish in places that hasn't been picked up for days. I've seen the toilets in a nasty state way too often. They don't have enough kettlebells for classes because they share them with the rest of the gym - it's been raised multiple times but nothing gets done. People are allowed to wear trainers on mats during fitness classes and then these same sweaty mats are used for yoga classes - easily solved by bringing your own but it's not really on. I know people who have stopped being members because of all this and I'm thinking about doing the same. It's a shame because this place was once a gem.

My son has attended kids club sessions here for several years and it has been consistently fantastic. The staff here are wonderful: knowledgeable, friendly and patient, and my son - who doesn’t like PE or traditional school sports like football - loves it. It’s a friendly and inclusive community. where we are always made to feel welcome. And the coffee is also great!

Recommended... Have climbed here a few times, including a birthday party with 12 kids. A great climbing setup, good team working there, easy to get to by train (though limited parking during the week). Follow the basic climbing rules and you will be fine.

The Nest climbing is a fantastic facility for your bouldering adventures. The staff and people make it a very friendly and welcoming place for climbers of all ages and skill levels to participate in the sport we love. There are a number of expert led small grouped classes to participate in between your time on the wall helping you build mobility and strength in order to progress in your climbs. I can recommend this place highly enough.
