An absolutely stunning park not far from Bristol’s iconic Gloucester Road. The park offers a variety of activities for children and spaces for adults to relax.

Venue for granddaughter's party Saturday June 13th. Sunshine and warm weather. What a delightful park. Well maintained, full of trees, a variety of climbing apparatus and an excellent paddling pool for the children. The park was full of groups of adults and children. Free to use, a fantastic community asset.

Lovely city park, with a very large area set aside for families. Even on the busiest day it wasn't crowded.

Just glorious. There's a co-op nearby where you can get bits and bobs for a picnic (there's usually a back way in, which is perfect for this but it's shut right now - April 26 - for some kind of building works. Hope they open it again). The Eat-A-Pitta nearby is excellent and makes a great picnic too. Good for vegans and coeliacs. The park itself has lots of beautiful trees and green areas to sit, as well as benches. We didnt use any of the other facilities today but in the past I have used the toilets (bit gross but serviceable), cafe (really sweet) and play park (awesome). I think the paddling pool still opens in warmer months but check before coming as I know the council wanted to close it at one point. I think it was saved by a local group but not sure. Gloucester Rd is just a hop and a skip away and has loads of lovely independent shops so well worth a visit. All in all, great place to be on a sunny day (also available on other days...)

Wonderful citypark, lovely walking trails amongst beautiful trees, a huge terraced play area with sandpit included and a little pond. A nice cafe in the middle, benches all around and other facilities.Must visit if visiting central Bristol, this is one of the main parks.

Fantastic park I am not local to this area but still keep coming from the other side of Bristol to enjoy it and the bonua of Gloucester road shops being close by The park as a children's park and lido perfect for those summer days You cannot fault it, it's been open for generations and let's hope our generation of Bristolians keep it clean and open for generations to come
