90 minute axe throwing activity session. 45 mins in a private party room.
The thrill of throwing an axe in the great outdoors, on our purpose built range. It’s all about technique, not strength – and our qualified instructor will be on hand to provide tips and support.

90 mins activity session. 45 mins in a private party room. Learn how to load, aim and shoot an air rifle on our purpose built range. You’ll use rifles with sights to shoot at both paper targets and more challenging rocker targets. Everyone can even take their target home as a memento. Our floodlit range means dark doens’t have to stop play.

60 mins activity session. 45 mins in a private party room. Take over our slope with exclusive use of the whole toboggan slope for a full hour of tobogganing fun! After a short brief from our team, you and your guests will be able to go up and down the slope as many times as you dare within your time slot.

All children taking part in the tobogganing must be between the ages of 4 – 12. You can have up to 24 tobogganers. Everyone will need to have a pair of gloves and be wearing full length sleeves, full length trousers and closed toe shoes.

90 mins activity session. 45 mins in a private party room. Could you survive in the wilderness? Our private, 250 acre woodland site is the ideal location for this introduction to bushcraft. A family friendly session will include fun fire lighting methods and basic outdoor survival for children. Your efforts will be rewarded as you’ll get chance to roast some marshmallows on the fire you built! Great off-grid, back to basics experience to share with your family or friends.

90 mins activity session. 45 mins in a private party room. This is a great introduction to the ancient sport which is fun for all ages, making it a great party activity. Your fully qualified instructor will cover the basics of using a bow and arrow on our outdoor range and use fun games and challenges to get the most out of your 90 minutes on the range. Our floodlit range means the dark doesn’t have to stop play.

Archery Active is the ultimate team combat sport, combining all of the best bits of paintballing, archery and dodgeball – without the bruises, mess or expensive ammo! We’ll kit you out with a bow, face mask, arm guard and foam tipped arrows, give you a full safety briefing and explain the rules of engagement before setting you loose on the battlefield.

Our brand new, purpose built, battle arena is right onsite with soft, rubber flooring and plenty of barrels to use as shields or a place to plan out your teams strategy! We’ll run through using the equipment before splitting into 2 teams and battling it out with a series of battles and strategy games.

90 mins activity session. 45 mins in a private party room. We’ll kit you everyone out with a helmet and head torch before taking the short walk to an underground mine shaft.

After a scramble through the entrance hole you’ll find yourself in a secret underground tunnel with a fascinating history and incredible 350 million year old geology.

The abandoned mine was used as a secret weapons base during the second World War. The armoury was discovered by a local boy by accident and was promptly sworn to secrecy under the officials secrets act. The weapons were hidden by the Home Guard to enable us to fight back in case of German occupation.

You’ll get up close with 350 million year old geology, calcites, gour pools, cave pearls and shark teeth stalactites and stalagmites.

Keep an eye out. Cavers have been searching for the most famous lost cave on the Mendip Hills for decades and an entrance to an underground abyss more than 40 fathoms deep is believed to be somewhere within the mine. Don’t worry though; our qualified instructor will be with you throughout your adventure.
